I appear to strive to be unconventional and unpredictable - and then I get annoyed when people don't know what I'm on about. I tried to be 'normal' for ages until I forgot why I was trying. I realised early that the trick of ensuring you never see the glass as half empty is to ensure that it's always full. In theory I'm a fitness freak; in reality I pay but rarely go. In theory I'm a fanatical camper; in reality I like a bath and a cafetierre. In theory I'm a folk singer but in reality I'm a Hives kind of girl. I manage volunteers for a 'robots in suits' government thing, have a clothing label: http://www.dirtyandwrong.com, a 'directory of art' website: http://www.eastfortyseventh.co.uk and a shop that amalgamates the two. I always appear to be stacked out with 'stuff'. I discovered 'love' at the age of 31 and love him more every day. Sick but true. I get by by accepting that 'the good thing about living in a small place is that when you have no idea what you're doing, someone else always will'. I have an unhealthy obsession with David Tennant (but liked him with a beard and before Doctor Who - Who?) and I will never succumb to the 'fashion' that is leopard print.
